Time Management - The “Test time module” function
The best way to determine whether callers should be able to access your service at a specified time is to use the Test the time module function, located within the Time Management section for any Time Module within Services > Time in the Admin Portal.
This will visually show you which of your time routing rules are in effect within the chosen period, allowing you to see if callers are being presented with the appropriate option.
- Access the Time Module
Enter the date & time within the box (note: this can also be used to check dates in the future i.e. public holiday routing)
- Press the “Test now” button
Check to see which entry is highlighted – this will tell you which “Exit” is being used at the time you have selected
If you have access to Call Flow Tool, you can go to the appropriate callflow to follow the exact routing for this exit.
