How to scan a QR code

When setting up two-factor authentication with an authenticator application as your chosen code delivery method, you will need to scan a QR code. 

The QR code will appear on the web page when you select to configure two-factor authentication with an authenticator app.

When you have chosen and downloaded your preferred authenticator app (please refer to this guide for more information on authenticator applications) you will need to open it and follow the relevant authentication app provider’s instructions. 

When choosing to “Scan a QR code”, you will need to bring you mobile device in front of the QR code, and ensure there is a clear view. Once the QR code is read, the authentication app should redirect you automatically to the next step.
