Puzzel ID: A step-by-step guide
The way users sign into the Puzzel Contact Centre applications is changing. A simplified identity and access management process makes for an even better experience with the Puzzel platform.
Puzzel ID Requirements
Puzzel ID only works for users with valid and accessible email addresses.
On first sign-in with the new URLs, users will receive verification emails in their inbox. If the verification email is sent to an inaccessible inbox, then the users will not be able to sign in.
For Puzzel Contact Centre users, this also means having set the correct user type.
For multi-application set-ups, a user needs to have the same Puzzel ID listed across applications for them to toggle between applications.
For detailed instructions on how to update users for Puzzel ID, please see here.
Activation
Customers looking to onboard onto Puzzel ID can reach out to Puzzel Customer Success (customer.success@puzzel.com) to begin the activation.
Test
After Puzzel ID is activated, the pre-existing sign-in continues to work as usual.
Administrators can use the new URLs to sign-in with Puzzel ID and discover the app launcher and new organisation settings.
When an administrator signs-in with Puzzel ID, they are able to set up the following:
- Single Sign-On will need to be reconfigured for use with Puzzel ID. This configuration will not affect your existing SSO connection with Puzzel Contact Centre. Instructions on how to configure Single Sign-On with Puzzel ID can be found here.
- Two-factor authentication can be configured, you only have to follow the simple steps of the relevant user guide here.
- If you use custom widgets in your Contact Centre Agent application, steps will need to be taken to add support for the new URL. These can be found here.
- Configure any integrations based on instructions that can be found here.
- New URLs will have to be used to log in by users with enabled Puzzel ID. To find the correct one please see here.
